The River is a snack-bar in the Meriggio park: a beautiful green area at the confluence of the Maggia and Melezza rivers.
The snack-bar offers a simple and good cuisine all day, it is also the ideal place for an evening aperitif.
Located along the cycle path that connects Locarno to the Maggia Valley, the area also offers a new playground, sports fields and much more; the material is available directly at the bar, along with changing rooms and lockers.
Summer is full of events both day and evening for all ages; The River is also suitable for all kinds of private events.
We are open from Easter to the end of October; the times vary and can be consulted on the internet.
