Located at the entrance of the village of Fusio, in the upper part of the Maggia Valley, the house was originally built at the end of the 18th century and completely renovated in 2013, after being uninhabited for decades. During the renovation, the original structure and architecture were preserved and the valuable wooden elements were reused.
The typical room made of decorated wood, the soapstone stove (Kachelofen), and the historical wooden cabinets allow guests to discover both the past and enjoy the present.
Casa Camilla serves as an ideal starting point for walks and excursions.
Visit Mario Botta’s church in Mogno or the Cristallina hut. Additionally, you can fish in Lake Naret and discover the many other leisure opportunities the region offers.
You can relax in Casa Camilla by the fireplace or the 1795 soapstone stove (Pigna), whether with an engaging book or during bad weather
