The almost two-and-a-half-hour hike starts in Cerentino, the village where the Rovana Valley divides into two valleys: Valle di Bosco Gurin and Valle di Campo. This historically and scenically interesting hike leads through a marvellous natural landscape from Lombard Latinity in Cerentino to the walser reality in Bosco Gurin. Dense fir and larch forests, meadows with wildflowers, the gurgling of the river, the idyll and the typical architectural style of this area seem like something out of a fairytale book. Once you arrive in Bosco Gurin, it's worth taking a visit of the village. The walser village is the only village in Ticino where German is spoken, and there is plenty to discover.

Both Cerentino and Bosco Gurin can be reached by public transport.
