The farmhouse Munt la Reita is located at 1,430 metres above sea level in the beautiful upper Maggia Valley.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is the ideal place for nature and farming enthusiasts. A marvellous place, with a panoramic view of the Ticino alpine mountains, suitable for mountain enthusiasts, families and those in search of relaxation. The natural environment invites you to numerous hikes in the mostly untouched nature and to discover the surrounding area, for example by visiting the beautiful Alpe Magnello. In winter, snow permitting, the mountains around the farm offer various spectacular routes for seal-skin or snowshoe hikes.
The farm is BIO Suisse certified. In our little shop we offer many products of our own production, such as the excellent meat of our cattle and woolly pigs or, during a limited period of the year, the famous Alpe Magnello cheese. In addition to these you will find a selected assortment of our own, regional and local products.
