Nicola Mottini/Chimerico Ensemble - Mercoledì Pianistici

Nicolas Mottini, Swiss pianist, accompanied by the newly formed Chimerico Ensemble, will perform for the fifth event of the Mercoledì Pianistici at the Elisarion in Minusio.
The program features one of the most iconic piano concertos by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The Piano Concerto in D minor, KV 466, will be presented in Carl Czerny’s transcription for piano, flute, and string quartet. Complementing Mozart’s masterpiece will be Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, BWV 1050, for flute, solo violin, piano, and strings.
The Chimerico Ensemble is composed of Tommaso Maggiolini (flute), Amanda Nesa and Donatella Gibboni (violins), Chiara Ludovisi (viola), and Milo Ferrazzini (cello).
