On September 23rd, La Rada -- a space dedicated to contemporary art -- will open the doors to Unseen Reconstructions, a new exhibition planned as part of the yearly program Un Nuovo Crepuscolo.
The exhibition is composed of site-specific installations originally located in the Locarno area, occupying public spaces that were not intended to welcome works of art. The exhibition allows the visitors to follow the traces of the artistic research, characterized by a plurality of languages and a common interest in identity and on the sense of belonging. The narratives offered in the spaces of La Rada, mostly absent in the media and artistic panorama of Ticino, reflect a desire to give a platform to community voices. The audience can witness the artistic research, documented by videos, images, and texts collected in a publication in the context of the exhibition.
