After more than twenty years of intense artistic activity in Brazil, Daniel Maillet (Zurich, 1956) has revived the atelier of his father Leo Maillet (1902-1990), creating a multipurpose space that will now host the LUMEN exhibition.
These are drawings, paintings and sculptures by Daniel Maillet, focused on the human figure, the tropical landscape and the two- or three-dimensional portrait: from large bodies or portraits made by candlelight to large paintings of tropical landscapes characterized by strong colors and light effects.
