Museo Forte Olimpio

Located in an of its kind outstanding and at that time important fortress system. The building was finalized more than 100 years ago and its aim was to protect the Swiss territory.
The museum Forte Olimpio exhibits and features collections, objects, article of clothing, personal effects as well as Swiss military arms.
Inside you will find rooms reconstructed to reflect the atmosphere of the World War 1 and 2 divided by individual epochs showing uniforms, personal arms from the 19th up to the 20th century as well as objects of the historical Swiss military patrimony.
