GranRex Auditorium Leopard Club

With its 450 seats, of which 162 with a desk and 6 only for people with reduced mobility, as well as with its advanced technology, the new GranRex presents itself as one of the most technologic movie theater in Ticino. Half a century after its construction and ten years after a premature retirement, the house of the Retrospettiva founded a new energy.

This has been possible thanks to the owner (GreSwiss Store AG for the BLUE Asset Management), the Leopard Club, the Ernst Göhner Stiftung as well as the Festival lovers, who had the possibility to finance it with the purchase of the vintage white armchairs or with the adoption of a new red one.

Accessibility Services

This cultural/tourist point of interest took part in the digital data mapping project on accessibility by Pro Infirmis. The project was carried out with the collaboration and support of Ticino Turismo, the four regional tourist organisations and the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
