Explanation
The area of Vira is suffused with positive energy from the valley behind it. The parish church of ancient origin provides silence and nurtures spirituality and vitality. The small church nearby has a beautiful picture of Mary of Magdalene on the ceiling.
In Monti di Piazzogna, to the right of the road in a meadow with a big centuries-old chestnut tree lies a boulder with three round cavities cut into it, probably dating from the time of the Lepontii or Celts. Given the panoramic location, engravings and high energy, it may have been an altar to the cult of the sun.
Sass da Grüm situated above Vairano is known internationally. Today this old settlement with a lake view is home to the Sass da Grüm hotel, where guests can enjoy the health-giving benefits of the surrounding nature, air and pure water as well as the cosmo-telluric energy. Some energy lines connect this site to Madonna del Sasso, Monte Verità and other places of power in the world.
The main power location is situated on a field in front of the hotel. The site’s therapeutic properties have been confirmed repeatedly by geobiological and scientific studies and are known to have initiated spontaneous healing. According to engineer and geomancer Jörg Janke, the site was a Celtic healing site. Today it’s a site for meditation sessions and seminars, while there is a Yoga Trail (Sentiero dello Yoga) in the woods behind the hotel.
